J Pringle Automotive open its doors in February 1978 in Queensbury St North Melbourne, where we have been servicing and repairing Automatic Transmission for over 34 years. 

John’s dream of owning a workshop started when he opened his doors in 1978 which he quickly grew out of this first workshop, moving twice more over the next 10 years to larger workshops, all within a very short walk of each other. As with each move the business grew larger employing more tradesmen and training many apprentices over the years. Quite early John’s wife, Stella joined the business full time and the tradition has continued with their son Rick now the second generation of Transmission Re builders.

We have grown and expanded but kept our original philosophy of always being honest with our service and importantly at the most reasonable price .Our customers keep coming back for that reason and now we even now look after their next generation.
